Many of us spend years trying to fix, change, or outgrow parts of ourselves without fully understanding them. These intensive sessions are designed to provide space for reflection, insight, and self-understanding. Often, meaningful change begins not with forcing ourselves to be different, but with developing a deeper understanding of who we are and how our experiences have shaped us.

  • What are Intensives?

Therapy Intensives are extended, structured therapy sessions designed to allow for deeper exploration than is possible in a traditional 50-minute appointment.

    Each session includes:

    • A pre-session intake questionnaire

    • A 90-minute virtual therapy session

    • Clinical reflection and pattern mapping

    • Personalized recommendations and next steps

    • Optional follow-up support if clinically appropriate

  • Who are the Intensives for?

This may be helpful if you are experiencing:

    • Repeating relationship patterns that feel confusing or painful

    • Difficulty trusting your own decisions or intuition

    • Anxiety, overthinking, or rumination in relationships

    • People-pleasing, over-functioning, or self-abandonment patterns

    • Emotional disconnection or feeling “stuck” in life or relationships

    • Questions around desire, intimacy, or sexual wellbeing

    • Transitions in relationships, identity, or life direction

  • How are the sessions stuctured?

Each session is tailored to your goals and needs.

Depending on what you are experiencing, we may explore:

    Relationship & Attachment Patterns

    • How you tend to respond in closeness, distance, and conflict

    • Repeating relational dynamics

    • Attachment-based patterns and protective strategies

    Self-Trust & Emotional Awareness

    • Difficulty knowing what you feel or need

    • Overthinking or second-guessing decisions

    • Patterns of self-doubt or internal conflict

    Nervous System & Coping Patterns

    • Fight, flight, freeze, and fawn responses

    • Emotional overwhelm or shutdown

    • Stress and regulation patterns

Sexual Wellness & Intimacy (when relevant)

    • Desire and arousal patterns

    • Sexual shame or messaging

    • Communication around intimacy and needs

    • Body-based awareness and connection

  • What will I learn?

These sessions are designed to help you leave with:

    • A clearer understanding of your emotional and relational patterns

    • Language for what you are experiencing

    • Increased self-awareness and insight

    • Personalized recommendations for continued work

    • Practical next steps grounded in your goals

  • What can I not expect?

To maintain clarity and appropriate expectations, this is NOT:

    • Ongoing weekly therapy replacement

    • Crisis support or emergency care

    • EMDR or trauma reprocessing in a single session

    • A quick fix or directive-based decision-making session

    • A diagnostic evaluation

  • How does the intensive process work?

    1. Complete a brief intake questionnaire before your session

    2. Attend a 90-minute virtual therapy session

    3. Explore patterns, history, and current concerns in depth

    4. Receive clinical reflections and recommendations

    5. Optional follow-up sessions may be scheduled if needed

  • How much does it cost?

    $375 per 90-minute session

Sometimes 50 minutes is not enough space to slow down and really understand what is happening beneath the surface.

Therapy intensives create additional time and structure to step back from immediate distress and explore the patterns, experiences, and internal dynamics that may be contributing to what you are feeling.

These sessions are not about quick fixes or immediate answers.

They are designed to support deeper understanding, clarity, and connection with yourself so that meaningful change becomes more possible over time.

Many people come to therapy hoping to change something about themselves quickly about how they feel, how they respond, or the patterns they keep finding themselves in.

In practice, lasting change often begins with understanding.

These intensives are designed to slow things down enough to see yourself more clearly. By understanding your patterns, protective strategies, relational dynamics, and the experiences that have shaped how you move through the world.

“we cannot change, we cannot move away from what we are, until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then change seems to come about almost unnoticed.”

-Carl R. Rogers
